About Aesthetic Nursing

Aesthetic medicine is a clinical specialty, providing minimally invasive medical treatments to enhance patients’ satisfaction with their physical appearance. The procedures are elective and performed on adult patients who are usually otherwise healthy.

About Us

DANAI was set up in early 2011. The association has been set up by its members for its members.

Our aims are simple:

Support and networking

The association plans to organise events, these events will be largely focussed on education but we also intend to have a side focus on network building to develop our association into a strong community where nursing professionals can seek advice and support.

Through our events we plan to partner with reputable and established brands. As a group DANAI members can hone their skills and develop their treatment offerings. By doing this as a group, we can expect more structure and better investment in education from the aesthetic pharmaceutical industry in Ireland. By coming together as a group DANAI will attract the best Key opinion leaders in the world.

Patient Care

Ultimately every nurse wants the safest, optimal clinical and aesthetic result for their patients.
Through government lobbying for better regulation and by adherence to a DANAI code of conduct, over the coming years we plan to make these improved standards a priority.

Code Of professional Conduct March2018.
