DANAI is delighted to welcome all NMBI registered nurses and midwives from across Ireland to our Education Information CPD Day on Saturday 7th of February 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport.

Whether you are already working in dermatology or aesthetics nursing, or are considering a future in medical aesthetics, or simply wish to update your skills and gain NMBI accredited CPD points, this engaging and supportive event is designed with you in mind.

Over the past eighteen months, the DANAI community has grown into a vibrant, collaborative network of nurses who share a passion for safe, ethical and evidence based aesthetic practice. This event reflects the spirit of that community, open, inclusive and committed to helping nurses at every stage of their professional journey.

Delegates can expect a friendly welcome, meaningful conversation and the chance to meet nursing colleagues already working in aesthetics.

The CPD day offers education and connection, with sessions aligned to all six NMBI Domains of Practice. Attendees will deepen their understanding of legal and regulatory standards in aesthetic practice, enhance their communication skills for patient consultations and strengthen their approach to clinical governance and documentation.

Expert led talks by Julie Scott, Sharon King, Anna Gunning, Brian Ormond, Dr Lisa Cunningham, Mary Keltai and more will explore evidence based acne management, psychological insight in aesthetic care, safe complication management, the vital role of hormones in ageing skin and clinical governance, patient safety and legal responsibilities in aesthetic nursing (agenda subject to change).

Designed to support both seasoned nurse practitioners and those new to aesthetics, the agenda provides a practical and accessible pathway into medical aesthetics. Even if you are simply curious about this growing nursing specialty or attending primarily for CPD requirements, you will find the content relevant, informative and grounded in real clinical practice.

The day includes updates on emergency medications, a review of Botulinum Toxin audit data and a lively symposium discussion, ensuring that every delegate leaves with new knowledge and fresh confidence in their clinical decision making.

Networking remains a key part of the DANAI experience, and this event provides several opportunities to meet with our industry partners in the adjoining conference room. You'll have time to chat with new and experienced aesthetic nurses and connect with peers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Delegates will receive certificates to support their professional development portfolio, with all learning contributing to ongoing NMBI CPD requirements.
